Christmas? More like Smithsmas.

Alright! So Christmas is in 2 days, and we don't have a tree up. Why? Because we're lazy and no one wants to get the decorations out from the garage and set up the tree and all that jazz. But just because we're not actually doing the tree thing, doesn't mean we're not getting each other presents. I got my mom and dad tickets to go see Cats, and when my check clears, I'm going to pay for them to go to dinner as well. It's gonna be a massive date night for the two of them. Anyway. For my sister, I was going to give her a photo that I had taken of a merry go round, but my I had to turn that in for class, so I'm thinking Easy A on blu-ray, for her. A sub-par gift I know, but... Or a gift card to Star Bucks.... I don't know. Maybe both. Anyway, So I got a check from my insurance, for 2,000.00 because of my cancer. I'm going to use that money to pay off bills and what not. I feel sad because the only reason I got that money was because I was dia

Today I stayed home from work for the first time since I got the news. I literally could not move this morning, and every time that I tried to get up I was doubled over in pain. I stayed in bed til nearly 1045 because the pain was so intense. It was like a belt of pain all around my hips. 19 days is too far away.

It's that time of year again.

Well Christmas is neigh uopn us and we went a little crazy this year. For some reason, I have a damn full time job and it seems that I have *less* money than I did when I was working part time. I dont know how that really works. But that's how it feels. In any case I got my parents two gifts. One individual and one date gift. A few years ago my sister and I decided to get my parents date gifts. One year we got them a catamaran voyage. This year we took the suggestion of Sunny and got them a gift card to a fancy smancy resturant called Roys. Their individual gifts are pretty standard. Clothrs for dad and for mom a new cooler, and three reusable water bottles with straws... in her favorite drink, coke. And flashlights. She has a thing for them. As for my sister... since she has access to this a d can read this at anytime, I won't tell. ha! I have been VERY blessed this year and I'm so grateful for it. Anyway.
